Based out of San Bernardino, CA, Honeycomb Hair Care Co. was born out of necessity. The owner is the mother of a special needs child who has aversions to noise, textures, and odors.
While searching for products acceptable for his sensory aversions, she was often frustrated by ingredients, textures, quality or, the cost of natural products. So what happened? She started making her own! Lexington, NC's newest family entertainment complex, AxeHole Axe Throwing & Friction Skating Rink, boasts an impressive 24,000 square feet of fun for all!
The concept of such a unique, fun venue was dreamed up by life long friends to bring something desperately needed to the community they call home. Davidson County friends and business partners, Will Yarborough and Dennis Strange, created a place for families and friends a place to play together and hang out. On one side it will have 20-22 lanes for axe throwing, five to six pool tables, eight to 10 cornhole areas and a beverage bar to purchase snacks, sodas, beer and wine. The opposite side will feature a skating rink, arcade, and snack bar. Plus two private party rooms available to rent. From the owners: "This is where our heart is. We both grew up here. We feel like this is something Lexington needs. We have plenty of restaurants and bars. We want to bring to Lexington a place where families and friends can come for a night of entertainment and keep them and their money here in Davidson County." |
